Ace Assistants! is an upcoming unofficial Ace Attorney fanzine centred around the assistant characters.Ace Assistants! will be produced as a physical, charity A5 zine donating all proceeds to the Albert Kennedy Trust, and have a physical release including merchandise.The main zine will be centred around the main assistant characters.
Alongside it, the bonus, digital-only companion zine called Turnabout Teammates will also include honorary assistants! The minizine is open submission to allow more people to share their love for all the AA assistants!★ Ace Assistants! Info Doc ★ Turnabout Teammates Info Doc ★Both zines will be available as a Pay What You Want digital copies during preorders, or as a digital zine and merchandise bundle for a set price. A month after preorders, both digital zines will be available in full for free - the preorders are just a way to gain early access by supporting the project! You may recognise me as a mod for the Klapollo Minibang, or for Infinity and Beyond: A Clay Terran Zine! But if you don’t, that’s just fine - hi, I’m Cam! I’ve been an Ace Attorney fan for so long I can’t remember how long it’s been, and my favourite characters have always been the assistants. This is my first time being the head mod of an Ace Attorney project, and I’m so excited to see what everyone creates.

Honey isn't actually a huge Ace Attorney fan, though she has played the games and likes them! She's here to handle EU shipping, but mostly emotional support for the head mod as an affectionately nicknamed trophy wife (loving girlfriend)

By all accounts, PM is just your friendly neighbourhood orange with a zine addiction— you might recognize their mod work on Transition and Turnabout, the Guilty As Charged album, and much, much more. And as a resident lesbian and lesbian enjoyer, voi is ecstatic to take part in making this zine a reality! Though it sure is a shame Klavier Gavin can't come along.

Hi, I'm Arc-en-Ciel, a traditional fan artist and zine enjoyer! Ace Attorney has been living free in my brain for decades, and I love it for that. I've contributed to 70+ zines, so maybe you've seen my work over there, and I recently joined the mod side. I've got the motivation of a dozen weird girl assistants with me so that everyone will enjoy this project! (๑꒪̇ω꒪̇๑)

Q: Wait, what’s a zine?
A: A zine is a mini-magazine. A fanzine in particular is an often collaborative project of fanart and/or fanfiction with several people contributing, which is what this is!Q: What should we expect from this zine?
A: This zine will be focused on the assistant characters of the Ace Attorney franchise and their roles as assistants. However, this is an intentionally broad concept— maybe you want to make a Mia Lives AU where Maya is her assistant, or write about Ema's experiences in Rise From The Ashes, or draw Athena exploring a crime scene!Q: Are ships allowed?
A: Yes, as long as the focus of your piece isn’t the ship. The preference is to keep the zine largely for general audiences, and also SFW. We will not be allowing minor x adult, attorney x assistant, or incest ships.Q: Are AUs allowed?
A: Yes, as long as they don’t stray too far from canon. For example, AUs that completely change the settings or role-swap the characters will not be allowed, but a bad ending AU or ‘x character lives’ AU will be. This is up to moderator discretion, so ask a mod during the pitching period if you’re unsure!Q: Is there an age limit for this zine?
A: Yes, we ask that all involved are sixteen or over by the day after sign-ups close, and that moderators are eighteen or over.Q: Where are you shipping to?
A: Everywhere! There may be places we can't ship to due to courier limitations, but we will make a list of those before preorders open.Q: Why multiple shipping mods?
